Important information for everyone who attends our game events

Siru Takala

Important information for everyone who attends our game events:

  • the arena’s doors will open at 1 PM on December 4th. Please arrive well in advance!
  • the Covid-19 passports will be verified at the main doors before the security check. Have your Covid-19 passport ready at hand.
  • Ilves Pre Game program in Original Long Drink Bar from 3 PM onwards.
  • Ilves After Game program in Original Long Drink Bar after the game has ended.

The Covid-19 passport (the EU Digital Covid Certificate) consists of three parts. One of the parts must be valid for the passport to be valid:

  • the Covid-19 vaccination certificate (2 doses) OR the test certificate (a negative test result maximum 72 hours earlier) OR the certificate of recovery (proof of recovery from Covid-19 less than 6 months ago). Frequently asked questions about the Covid-19 passport: kanta.fi
  • the Covid-19 passports will be verified at the main doors before the security check. Have your Covid-19 passport ready at hand before entering.
  • the tickets for the event will be checked at the ticket gate right after entrance. Have your ticket ready at hand after the security check.
  • Nokia Arena is cashless, so we recommend everyone to pay with cards. You cannot pay with cash at the arena. Nokia Arena favors payments by cards, and the restaurants do not accept cash. Utilizing card payments is meant to minimize hand touching and make customer service as seamless and swift as possible. During the events there will be a money exchange desk in the main concourse level where you can exchange cash for an Arena Food & Beverage payment card. You can also do the exchange at the Casino Taproom brewhouse and restaurant. Load the amount of money you want on the card and use it at any place that sells food or drink in the arena. The loaded money on the card is valid for one year. The card functions like a regular gift card, and thus the card’s money cannot be exchanged back to cash.
  • please leave suitcases, umbrellas, and other non-essential items home, because Nokia Arena has limited space for safekeeping.
  • you can use Ilves game tickets for traveling free by Nysse bus, tram, and local train on a home game night: the tickets can be used in the transportation for three hours before the game and for five hours after the game has started.
