Ilves welcome The Old Irish Pub as main partner

Ilves-Hockey Oy

Ilves-Hockey Oy and The Old Irish Pub have signed an extensive partnership contract. The pub chain joins the group of Ilves’ main partners.

The Old Irish Pub is a Denmark-based pub concept that established its first pub in Roskilde in 2013. Currently The Old Irish Pub is Denmark’s biggest family-owned pub chain with a grand total of 22 restaurants in Denmark and several more in other Nordic countries.

– We are delighted to start our partnership with The Old Irish Pub and welcome the pub chain into our enterprise network as main partner. Together we will develop services to our growing supporter base. In the future our supporters will be able to follow Ilves’ games in the premises of The Old Irish Pub as well, where the games will be screened, says Lasse Fihl¸ sales and event manager of Ilves-Hockey Oy.

In Finland The Old Irish Pub operates in Helsinki, Lahti, Tampere, Turku and Vaasa. The Old Irish Pub Tampere, located in the city centre address Hämeenkatu 16, celebrated its opening in February 2020. The pub’s terrace and indoor premises have almost 500 customer places.

– Ice hockey is a big part of the Finnish identity. We feel that Ilves is an excellent partner to help strengthen our status both in Pirkanmaa area and all over Finland. Ilves convinced us with their know-how and vision. I believe our partnership will help us both towards even greater success, comments Kasper Toft Jørgensen, marketing director of The Old Irish Pub.

The Old Irish Pub welcomes all the fans to watch the first away game HIFK – Ilves on Saturday at 17:00.
